Portugal national team captain Cristiano Ronaldo has left the team's training camp amid a reported rift with new head coach Juan Jesus. Ronaldo was an unused substitute in Portugal's 2-1 win over Norway in the UEFA Nations League on Sunday, despite warming up for over 20 minutes. He did not celebrate with the team and left early for the dressing room. Coach Jesus denied any rift, stating Ronaldo was informed he would not start but might be brought on later. Despite intervention from the Portugal Football Federation president, Ronaldo decided to leave and promised to reveal behind-the-scenes issues later.
