The Bauchi State Police Command has rescued a 16-year-old boy, Usman Dauda, and arrested a 60-year-old suspect, Abdullahi Abubakar, in connection with an alleged abduction. The rescue followed a distress report from the boy's father on September 28, 2026, stating that his son had been abducted from Misau town to Bangala village in Shira Local Government Area. The suspect allegedly intended to move the boy to Kano for unknown reasons. The victim was taken to the General Hospital, Yana, for medical examination, and preliminary investigation is ongoing.
