Christa Gail Pike, a woman on death row in the United States, was supposed to be executed in Tennessee. However, after officials gave her two doses of a lethal drug called pentobarbital, they were unable to complete the execution, and she survived. This incident took place at the Riverbend Maximum Security Institution in Nashville. Pike is currently 50 years old.
