The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) in Nigeria announced that over 9.3 million young people registered to vote in 2026. This registration took place during a program called Continuous Voter Registration (CVR). Additionally, INEC introduced nine new Youth Ambassadors to encourage more young people to get involved in the upcoming 2027 general elections.
