In a message for Nigeria's 66th Independence Day, John Nwosu, a leader of the African Democratic Congress, emphasized that the greatest strength of Nigeria is its people. He believes that the resilience, creativity, and determination of Nigerians have helped the country through tough times. Nwosu pointed out that insecurity is Nigeria's biggest challenge and called on leaders to address crime so that people can live, work, and travel safely. He suggested using modern technology to improve security and fight corruption in the government. He also highlighted the need to tackle issues like unemployment, high living costs, poor infrastructure, and inadequate healthcare, especially for young people. Nwosu stressed that citizens should actively participate in elections and hold their leaders accountable, as voting is a key way to influence the country's future. He encouraged Nigerians to remain hopeful despite the challenges, believing that with cooperation and commitment, they can build a better future for the country.
