Between January and September 2026, the Nigerian Federal Government issued bonds worth N7.15 trillion. This amount is more than double what was issued during the same time in 2025, which was N3.48 trillion. This increase of 106% shows that the government is raising significantly more money through these bonds this year compared to last year.
