Haaland sues airline over ponytail image

Erling Haaland, a famous Norwegian football player, is suing Norwegian Air Shuttle. He claims the airline used his image without permission in their ads during the World Cup. His lawyer said the airline used Haaland's unique hairstyle—his ponytail—in a promotional image for plane tickets, which they believe is unfair. Haaland recently helped Norway reach the World Cup quarter-finals, their first time in the tournament since 1998. The airline had shared a photo montage showing a plane with a ponytail, which they said represented being "more Norwegian." However, after the lawsuit, they took the image down from social media. The airline expressed confusion over the lawsuit and said they were just trying to support the national team. They hope to resolve the issue through conversation. A court hearing is set for October 9 in Oslo.
