The African Development Bank (AfDB) is starting a new program to assist African countries in improving their credit ratings. This initiative aims to enhance the quality of economic data and increase transparency in these countries. By doing so, the AfDB hopes that these nations will be able to lower their borrowing costs, making it easier and cheaper for them to get loans.
