Nigeria has introduced a new digital postcode system. This system gives each building a unique address, which helps to identify locations more easily. The goal of this initiative is to address problems related to location identification, which have been causing significant financial losses—estimated at around N80 billion. By improving how addresses are managed, the government hopes to enhance services and reduce these losses.
