Katsina State Governor, Dikko Umar Radda, has urged government departments and agencies to quickly and effectively carry out projects from the newly approved 2027 budget, which is worth about 828.58 billion Naira. After signing the budget into law, Radda emphasized that it is now their job to turn the government’s plans into real projects that benefit the people. The budget was created through a process that involved talking to citizens to understand their needs, reviewing budget proposals closely, and then having the state legislature approve it. Radda highlighted that this year’s budget was signed earlier than last year’s, showing progress in the budgeting process. The Speaker of the Katsina State House of Assembly, Hon. Nasiru Yahaya Daura, noted that the budget includes money for ongoing expenses and for new projects. He encouraged residents to support the government in making sure these plans succeed.
