Saudi Arabia has approved an additional 10,000 Hajj slots for Nigeria, raising the country's 2027 allocation from 50,000 to 60,000 pilgrims. The National Hajj Commission of Nigeria announced the development in a statement issued by Shafii Mohammed, Head of its Information and Publications Division, on Thursday. According to the commission, 7,500 of the additional slots were allocated to a specific category of pilgrims. The increase follows the approval granted by the Saudi authorities.
