Walmart has introduced a new feature in its stores that helps shoppers find items more easily. Now, when customers use the Walmart app, they can activate a flashing light on digital price tags that shows them where the product is located on the shelves. This feature has been available to store employees and delivery drivers for a while, and it has helped them work faster. The digital price tags have been appearing in Walmart stores across the U.S. over the past year. Customers can use the app to search for specific items and then turn on the little green light in the aisle where the item is located. Walmart's CEO, John Furner, assured customers that the prices on these digital tags will not change based on who is shopping or the time of day. Prices are set at the company's headquarters, but store managers can still offer discounts to compete with other stores.
