Portugal defeated Denmark 4-2 in the UEFA Nations League on Thursday despite the controversy surrounding Cristiano Ronaldo's departure from training camp. Joao Felix scored late to secure the win after Denmark twice equalized. Coach Jorge Jesus had said before kick-off that he wanted his side to focus on the match. Ronaldo, the team's record goalscorer, left after being told he would not start, having also been benched in Sunday's win over Norway.
