The Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency (NIMASA) is set to open applications for a hackathon aimed at identifying and nurturing young Nigerian innovators. The initiative is designed to develop technology-driven solutions for challenges in the maritime industry and blue economy. NIMASA made the disclosure during NIMASA Day at the Abuja International Trade Fair, where it also engaged youths through a maritime quiz and rewarded winners. The event aimed to educate the public, especially youths, on the relevance of the maritime sector.
