Zidane insists ‘no regrets’ about Materazzi headbutt as France face Italy again

New France coach Zinedine Zidane has said he has no regrets about his headbutt on Marco Materazzi in the 2006 World Cup final. He made the remark ahead of France's UEFA Nations League match against Italy at the Stade de France. Zidane, who was sent off in extra time of that final, said the incident was part of his career and he prefers to focus on positive moments. He added that he has not spoken to Materazzi since that night in Berlin.
