Despite President Bola Tinubu's directive for transportation fares to decrease starting October 1 through the use of Compressed Natural Gas-powered buses, commuters in several states continue to pay the same or higher fares. A survey by The PUNCH on Thursday revealed that the presidential directive has not been implemented. The low fare initiative aimed to ease transportation costs for Nigerians.
