Ize Matebese has been elected as the new president of the Nigeria Triathlon Union. The election took place at the union's elective congress held at the Nigeria Olympic Committee Secretariat inside the National Stadium, Surulere, Lagos, on Wednesday. Matebese, a prominent legal practitioner and founding member of the union, emerged after polling the highest number of votes. His election marks a new chapter for the union.
