Nigerian table tennis players Umar Ayoola and Elizabeth Emelike have been selected for the ITTF World Hopes Week & Challenge 2026. The event is scheduled to take place from October 12 to 18 at the English Institute of Sport in Sheffield. Their selection marks another step towards re-establishing Nigeria's presence on the global junior table tennis stage. The tournament will feature young talents from around the world.
