The Jigawa State High Court No. 11, sitting in Ringim, has sentenced 50-year-old Abubakar Biniya to 10 years imprisonment for raping an 11-year-old girl. The judgment was delivered on Tuesday, September 29, 2026, by Hon. Justice Muhammad El-Usman. The court also ordered that the convict's name be announced on radio. Biniya is from Galadanchi Quarters in Ringim Local Government Area.
