A prominent politician in Ogun State, Adekunle Shomorin, has petitioned the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) to investigate the donation of 119 vehicles for the campaign of the All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidate, Senator Solomon Adeola (Yayi). The petition, dated 30 September 2026, calls for a probe into the circumstances surrounding the vehicles. The EFCC has not yet commented on the petition.
