The Nigerian Army Corps of Artillery will conduct its annual training exercise, Exercise Vulcan Glow XII, from October 5 to October 18 in Kachia, Kaduna State. The exercise will take place at the Nigerian Army Military Training Area in Kachia and will involve the firing of live ammunition, as well as the movement of military personnel and equipment. In a statement signed by Maj. G.A. Okupe, Acting Deputy Director of Army Public Relations, residents, farmers, and communities in the area were advised to stay away from the designated training ground throughout the exercise. The Army urged the public to adhere strictly to the safety advisory and appealed to stakeholders and the media to disseminate the information widely.
