Tech CEOs, including OpenAI president Greg Brockman and Elon Musk, have recently claimed that artificial general intelligence (AGI) has been achieved. AGI is typically defined as an AI that can match or exceed human intelligence across a wide range of tasks. However, engineers told Business Insider that the term is overblown and that such claims are premature.
