Kim Yo Jong, the sister of North Korea's leader, called South Korea "despicable" on Friday after Seoul demanded an apology over a demilitarised zone blast that wounded three soldiers. Pyongyang denied involvement in the landmine blast last month inside the DMZ. South Korea's military called the incident a clear violation of the Armistice Agreement and demanded an official apology. Kim Yo Jong's statement could dampen hopes for improved relations after South Korea's President Lee Jae Myung urged dialogue.
