Akinbola Rotham, the Ogun State governorship candidate of the New Nigeria People's Party, has explained why he withdrew a lawsuit challenging Senator Solomon Adeola's eligibility to contest the 2027 governorship election. The suit, numbered FHC/AB/CS/135/2026, challenged Adeola's indigeneship of Ogun State. Rotham provided his reasons for withdrawing the case.
