Suspected Boko Haram/ISWAP terrorists killed 15 farmers in Ala and Musune wards of Marte Local Government Area, Borno State. The victims were ambushed on their farmlands on Wednesday evening, but information was delayed due to lack of telecommunications. Fifteen of the 18 people who went to the farms were recovered and buried on Thursday according to Islamic rites, while three others remain missing. The Borno State police command confirmed the incident and said efforts are ongoing to recover the remaining bodies.
