Some residents of the Falkland Islands have called for restrictions on Argentine visitors following reports that tourists displayed Argentine flags and messages rejecting British sovereignty over the territory. Michael Goss, a member of the Falkland Islands Legislative Assembly for Camp, said residents had been vocal about preventing Argentine visitors from entering the islands. He added that the Assembly would consider the matter. The calls come amid ongoing tensions over the sovereignty of the Falkland Islands, which Argentina claims as Las Malvinas.
