Stakeholders in Nigeria's electoral process have identified results transmission and collation, electoral violence, voter intimidation, and security collusion as the biggest threats to the credibility of the 2027 general elections. They expressed their concerns at the first Multi-stakeholder Roundtable on Electoral Reform Implementation, Electoral Integrity and Youth Participation held in Abuja. The roundtable was convened by Kimpact Development Initiative and other partners under the Youth Electoral Reform Project YERP-Naija. A communique issued at the end was signed by representatives from KDI, INEC, IPAC, CLEEN Foundation, and the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission.
