The World Architecture Festival has announced its 2026 shortlist for the "Building of the Year" award, featuring 416 projects from around the world. The shortlisted buildings fall into four categories: completed buildings, future projects, interiors, and landscape. Some designs are intended to blend into their surroundings, while others transform historic spaces. Finalists will present their projects to judges in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, in November.
