Makinde appoints veteran journalist Dunia as public affairs adviser

Governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo State has appointed veteran journalist Amos Dunia as Special Adviser on Public Affairs for his 2027 campaign. Makinde, the presidential candidate of the Allied People's Movement (APM), announced the appointment in a statement in Abuja by Richard Ihediwa, Director of Strategic Communications for the Makinde-Daura Presidential Campaign Organisation. Dunia, a former Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) chieftain, brings decades of print and broadcast media experience from outlets including the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA) and The Sun. The appointment took immediate effect as the campaign pushes its 'Reset Nigeria' message ahead of the upcoming election.
