Over 250 chieftains and members of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and Accord have defected to the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Oyo State ahead of the 2027 general elections. The defectors were received by the leadership of the APC, led by the state Chairman and former Deputy Governor, Chief Moses Alake Adeyemo. The event took place at a gathering in Oyo State.
