The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Belarus, Maxim Ryzhenkov, met with the Minister of State for Animal Industry of Uganda, Bright Rwamirama, who led a delegation from Uganda's Ministry of Agriculture, Animal Industry and Fisheries. The meeting took place on 2 October 2026 in Belarus. They discussed implementing agreements from the Belarusian Prime Minister's visit to Uganda in February 2025. Talks focused on strengthening political and inter-ministerial dialogue, advancing economic ties, and expanding the bilateral legal framework, with emphasis on agriculture, veterinary medicine, industry, and food security.
