Former Kogi State Governor Yahaya Bello returned to Kogi Central Senatorial District on Friday to a massive reception by residents and All Progressives Congress supporters. The event was marked by colourful displays and chants as crowds welcomed Bello, who is the APC senatorial candidate for the 2027 election. Bello, who governed Kogi State from 2016 to 2024, won the party's May 2026 senatorial primary. Stakeholders enumerated his legacy projects and declared that he is naturally loved by the entire residents of Kogi.
