Atiku Abubakar, the African Democratic Congress (ADC) presidential candidate, has promised to make life affordable again if elected president in 2027. He pledged to reduce the economic burden on Nigerians by lowering the cost pressures linked to petrol, transportation, food and other essential goods. Atiku, a former vice president, criticised the Tinubu administration's handling of the petrol subsidy policy.
