Trust Radio, a broadcast arm of Media Trust Group, has been named the winner of the 2026 West Africa Sustainability Award (WASA). The outlet was recognized as the West Africa Most Sustainable Terrestrial and Digital Audio Services Company of the year 2026 at a summit held on Friday in Lagos. It was adjudged the winner due to its credible news, current affairs, public affairs, and entertainment radio platform with a strong focus on issues that matter to Nigerians. The summit was themed "Accelerating Africa's Green Transition: People, Planet & Prosperity," and focused on six thematic pillars including ESG Integration and Corporate Accountability, Climate Finance and Green Investment, and Sustainable Agriculture and Food Security.
