The National Assembly has pledged continued support for President Bola Tinubu's reform agenda, focusing on economic strengthening, security enhancement, and national development. Senate President Godswill Akpabio made this commitment on Friday evening after leading a delegation of federal lawmakers to President Tinubu's Ikoyi, Lagos residence to mark Nigeria's 66th Independence Anniversary. Akpabio stated that the legislature believes the administration's reforms are yielding results in the economy and security, though he acknowledged that pockets of challenges remain in some parts of the country. He added that insecurity is abating and people are able to sleep well.
