Apify, a global software development platform, has partnered with She Code Africa to boost the participation of Nigerian women in the developer economy. The partnership was announced by Apify's Senior Developer Community Manager, Mr. Sauray Jain, during a two-day hybrid hackathon in Lagos. The initiative aims to create opportunities for women developers in Nigeria and other African countries to build software, participate in the developer economy, and monetise their technical skills. The intervention followed low female participation in Apify's previous global software-building challenge despite strong overall participation from Africa.
