The Nigerian Midstream and Downstream Petroleum Regulatory Authority (NMDPRA) has announced plans to conduct a digital licensing round for gas distribution areas across Nigeria. The licensing round is scheduled to take place before the end of 2026. The initiative aims to boost gas infrastructure in the country.
