The Federal Government has been urged to declare a state of emergency in Nigeria's health sector due to the mass exodus of medical professionals. The call was made by Mr. Fakuyi Adewale Banjo, Convener and host of The Convergence 2026, during an Independence Day medical outreach. The outreach, held at the Rave Television Complex, provided free medical examinations, vital signs checks, blood sugar tests, health counselling, and distributed drugs to beneficiaries as part of Nigeria's 66th Independence Anniversary activities.
