A women's support group for the Peter Obi and Rabiu Kwankwaso presidential ticket has started a nationwide mobilisation campaign ahead of the 2027 general elections. The Obi-Kwankwaso National Women's Support Group said its mobilisation drive began on October 1 after inaugurating its national leadership. The group aims to deepen grassroots engagement and expand support for the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) presidential ticket. Obi and Kwankwaso joined the NDC in May 2026, with Obi as presidential candidate and Kwankwaso as running mate.
