Nigerian returnees from South Africa have narrated their experiences, expressing gratitude to be home. Eze Pauline Ijeoma, an Imo State indigene, was among 105 Nigerians who returned in the second batch sponsored by the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG). She said she left Nigeria in 2013 and returned in 2023, and described xenophobic attacks, police detentions and difficulties running her food business in South Africa. She expressed happiness at being home, saying there is no place like home.
