Rivers State Governor, Siminalayi Fubara, presented the Certificate of Recognition and Staff of Office to the new Amanyanabo of Opobo Kingdom, His Majesty King Charles Douglas Mac-Pepple Jaja, Jeki VI. Fubara urged the monarch to promote peace, unity, and inclusiveness during his reign and to involve other contenders in the selection process. The governor also described National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) members deployed to the state as critical assets to Rivers State's growth and development. Fubara explained that his absence from the monarch's coronation was due to other commitments.
