The Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) and Bi-Courtney Aviation Services Limited, operators of Murtala Muhammed Airport Terminal Two (MMA2), have proposed different strategies to increase aviation revenue. FAAN advocates a comprehensive review of taxes, levies, and charges, emphasizing transparency and a revamped revenue structure. Bi-Courtney supports a growth-driven model focused on lower charges and higher passenger traffic. The positions were presented at the 30th Annual Conference of the League of Airport and Aviation Correspondents in Lagos, themed 'Towards Sustainable Aviation Industry: Balancing Government Revenue Demands with Sector Growth.'
