Professor Adewunmi Falode of Lagos State University has attributed Nigeria's political, economic, and security crises to structural malfunctions in democracy, federalism, and education. In LASU's 115th Inaugural Lecture, he argued that Nigeria must design institutions based on its own history and realities rather than importing political models. He identified these three areas as 'wheels' that need realignment for stability and development.
