The All Progressives Congress (APC) formally presented its presidential campaign council on August 22, but political maneuvering had been intense even before the announcement. The list of council members was later suspended due to complaints, yet campaigning continued to rise as Director-General Abdulaziz Yari traveled the country promoting the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu. With barely three months to the general elections, issues surrounding the formation of the council remain unresolved at both national and state levels. The AbdulAziz Yari-led Presidential Campaign Council has commenced activities while awaiting official inauguration.
