Rotimi Amaechi, former Rivers State Governor and African Democratic Congress (ADC) vice-presidential candidate, has blamed President Bola Tinubu's economic policies for his mother's death. In an interview on Channels Television, Amaechi stated that his mother was healthy before Tinubu's administration but died due to the high cost of medicines. He attributed her death to the increased prices of pharmaceuticals under the current economic policies.
