The Central Bank of Nigeria's latest Inflation Expectations Survey shows that 77.2% of Nigerian households perceived inflation as high in September 2026, up from 67.2% in August. The overall Inflation Perception Index rose to 43.1 points from 39.6 points in August. The survey indicates increased concern over rising prices.
