North Korea fires ballistic missile after Seoul’s apology demand

North Korea fired a ballistic missile from the Wonsan area toward the East Sea, according to South Korea's Joint Chiefs of Staff. The missile flew more than 700 kilometers. This occurred days after North Korea demanded an apology for a blast in the Demilitarized Zone that wounded three South Korean soldiers, which North Korea denies responsibility for.
