State-owned mining companies from Malawi, Kenya, and Eswatini will participate in the National Mining Companies Forum at African Mining Week 2026. Malawi Mining Investment Company (MAMICO) will join to attract capital for mining projects, focusing on gold, graphite, rare earths, and limestone. The Malawian government and World Bank have launched a roadmap projecting up to $30 billion in investments. The forum aims to support African-led mineral development and value addition.
