‘It was difficult to buy drugs’ – Amaechi blames Tinubu’s policies on mother’s death

Former Minister of Transportation Rotimi Amaechi has blamed policies of President Bola Tinubu's administration for contributing to the death of his mother. In an interview on Channels Television's Politics Today, Amaechi said the rising cost of medicines made it difficult for his family to care for her. He claimed his mother was healthy before Tinubu assumed office but struggled as drug prices increased. Amaechi, the African Democratic Congress (ADC) vice-presidential candidate, stated that policies are killing people.
