Troops have rescued 15 kidnap victims and arrested two suspects in an operation against kidnappers. The intervention forced the attackers to abandon a victim who had sustained gunshot wounds before fleeing. The injured victim was evacuated to the General Hospital, Gidan Waya, for medical treatment. Security personnel are continuing efforts to track down the fleeing suspects.
